The UN invests many millions of dollars each year, but there is no centralized training to senior managers to fully exploit and ensure best return on investment in IS and ICT projects.
The UN ICT strategy represents a bold agenda for change in the way in which IS and ICT are managed. This strategy cannot be effectively introduced without a major and substantial UN-specific training programme.
