Organizations will wish to be involved because it is by training that more informed decisions will be taken regarding IS and ICT. Training will help to encourage compliance with IS/ICT Governance & Security best practice, and will improve the maturity of UN system Organizations in their use of IS/ICT, ensuring that staff are appropriately skilled to ensure that mainstreaming of IS/ICT in development programmes happens.
The availability of training material specifically developed for the UN by CBT and video will also improve the quality and reduce the cost of training for UN IS and ICT staff.
